huy,can i flash an O2 stellar device with an HTC rom and/or get support from the HTC website?

another question;does the stellar work only on O2 network using 3G,3.5G,video calling or can i use them on any network?

Another very good site that could answer these issues, where you can peruse for possible ROMS (obviously after sim and super cid unlocking) Also tools found on enclosed link is:

Then after doing above you can use any APN for any network provider

Definately give these guys a try; like Modaco there the best in the field!

thanks for the link nucksta,it did clarify things a bit about the ROM flashing stuff.

but for the 3G network compability,i found that the device supports both HSPDA and UMTS.but does that mean it works on any network that supports any of them,apart from O2?

i'm confused because this device is O2 branded,so i was wondering if it was built to operate for O2 provided 3G services or any network supporting 3G...

i want to be sure because i want to buy the device,and the seller is waiting for an answer from me so i've got to decide quickly.

Yes, it'll work with any network

Although you might need to unlock it.

(Not sure if o2 simlock their branded devices still)
