Can someone please help me? Recreate the file size limit, setting it to a high value. I will be revising this tip tomorrow as I have noted another issue relating to that method also. Check back here tomorrow if you can't get it working.
Guest thelostsoul Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 This should do it: Remove the 300KB limit on Ringtones # Go into HKEY_Current User → ControlPanel → Sounds # Modify the key of FileSizeLimit (DWORD) to something much greater than it's current value (eg. 9999999; cannot be greater than '4294967295')
Guest Confucious Posted March 5, 2008 Report Posted March 5, 2008 Why would you want to set nothing as your ringtone? Surely that's the same as having it on silent?
