GPS problem - serial port stuck - solved

I have a problem with my GPS.

when i open a software that uses the gps. i get the following warning:

"GPS problem - operation system error : serial port stuck in a system call"

after that the device is stuck and only SR helps.

i tried SR, HR, loading a backup.

thank you for your help

tried to flash radio - still same problem

problem solved - i've updated the radio version to - 1.64.08.21

Did you try it after the Hard Reset, but before loading the backup? Did this happen after installing a new ROM?

If so, it suggests a hardware fault, as you have tried pretty much everything that ought to fix a software/firmware problem.

it happned after i tried to use the device without a sim card.

i did try it before loading the backup.

What s/ware are you using? Could it be a problem with the s/ware looking at the wrong com port?
