Guest YXD Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 Hi A friend of mine has some software on his phone that measures the 0-60 time of his car, however the software is for symbian only http://www.tempes.com/features.html Does anyone know of anything like this for Windows Mobile as I'd like it on my HTC Kaiser Ta
Guest fraktal Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 Haha, yes! Paul's baby CamerAware does it with GPS. It's available, well, all over this forum actually, or go to www.cameraware.net. The option's in the "expert mode". I don't know how accurate it is though...but like your friend may have found out, you need to be a bit above 60 for it to register in my experience (try holding 65 for a couple of seconds).
Guest mcwarre Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 GPS software on phones is too slow to react to get accurate measurements. Use the GPS to hold a steady speed of 60 then correlate this with your speedo (it will be above 60 on the speedo and maybe up to 66). Then stop and burn rubber to get to the correlated speed which will give a fairly accurate 0-60mph.
Guest richair Posted April 21, 2008 Report Posted April 21, 2008 There is something called GPS Performance by JFM Studios. I tried a demo, seems to be ok.

Guest iTec Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 I tried the extreme apps gforce and it looks promising, however at the moment it doesnt work on the omnia (several issues including screen size) Version 3 according to http://www.extreme-apps.com/dwnld.php is expected at the end of the month and will work on the omnia
