Manaul Send/Receive "Grayed out" and not selectable for Inbox Messaging

So, I had a BJ II fully configured and built with software load just like I wanted it. Today, I took a SIM unlocked BJ II that was in every other way identical to my other one and wanted to migrate to it and return the former to AT&T since I am within my 30 day return period (till tomorrow anyway). It appears that both devices are identical insofar as hardware versions and software builds, versions, ROM etc. I took a Sprite backup image off my old BJ II and had success imaging my build onto the new one. I am one little bug (or miss on my part) away from being completely cloned over just how I want to be.

The failing is that on the new device I can not choose "Send/Receive" from the Messaging Inbox configured to sync with my Exchange Server via Direct Push Wireless ActiveSync because that option is "grayed out". On the device that I am moving from I have never had this problem. Any suggestions?
