what happened to the free copy of outlook that used to come free with windows mobiles . i see now that it costs £80+ whats the score there

Most winmo devices still come with ann old version of outlook - but don't you already have it? MS Office only costs about £89 I believe for personal use.

yeah i was lucky enough to get a copy with my e200 back in the day . but a friend who has just invested in a tytn II ( who i have been trying to help sort out with his contact syncing only to find he has outlook express on his pc not outlook ) what to do £80 + for outlook , any easier ways .

What a bugger! I just bought another phone and I'm sure it came with outlook - If I can find the CD I'll PM you and drop it in the post to you for your friend if you like. Doesn't help others tho!

Yeah the CD that came with my Atom Life had a 60-day trial of Outlook. Microsoft pinching the pennies! :D

many thanks for the replies & thanks for the offer confucious, i'm gonna check through my old boxes to see if my old c550 has it on the disc. it is a bit tight of microsoft though .

If you have an Exchange account (from an ISP for example) they generally seem give you an Outlook licence too.
