hearing dtmf tones?

Ok 2 part question.

1. When I dial in to say the voicemail system at work (or any ivr type thing) and enter my box number and password I dont hear anything. Its working, sending the tones to the other end, and they show up on my screen but I'd like to hear them. Any kind of fix/tweak/hack to do this?

2. when the phone is connected to my bluetooth earpiece or bluetooth car stereo I hear nothing at all for the initial dialing of the number. My old nokia 6682 (symbian) when connected to a bluetooth device re-routed all audio to it, dial tones, key-clicks, text message alerts etc. any ideas here?
