There's an option to switch it into stand-by if it's un-used for X amount of time...

but does it take calls while on stand-by?

Cause if not..it's pretty useless, right? :/

Maybe more a general windows question but my phones a Kaiser so I thought I'd post it here.

Also, yes, im a newbie.

Short and sweet,

Yes it does.

Welcome!

Alright, I was thinking it must.

I guess im doing it wrong then. So, if that's the case then any ideas as to why when I tried to phone it while on stand-by it punted me through to my voice mail?

Any ideas as to where I should go hunting for settings?

Im tech savvy, but new to XDA/Pocket PC phones.

Hold on, when you say standby do you just mean by quickly pressing the power button to kill the screen?

Also what setting are you referring to, the one in Start>Settings>System>Power>Advanced?

Im not hitting the power button at all, rather im saying, if it's on standby through the the power > advanced options does it take calls?

Or rather, should it take calls, because mine doesn't appear to.

Thanks for your help so far.

Ok, it should take calls, and if it doesn't there's something very wrong

Have you tried restarting it?

If yes and it still won't play I think you should consider a hard-reset (restore to factory default)

Restarting the device seems to have worked.

Amazing what problems a restart will fix...

Thanks for the help and advise!
