Guest riot_starter Posted March 17, 2008 Report Posted March 17, 2008 I type in two languages on my Vox keyboard (English and Bulgarian). Each time I change the language, the T9 option in turned on. I don't want to use the T9 (there is no T9 for Bulgarian and it only hinders the typing there). Is there a way to turn it off completely? P.S.: When I searched on the Internet for an answer, everytime it was written that the phone remembers the ABC/T9 choice you have made even after reboot. However I have found out that merely changing the input language turns the T9 on, so this is not the solution. The other proposed solution was changing the DefaultInputModule and TextModeMode in the registry, but they are also changed back to T9 (1) after changing the language..
Guest Gunde Posted March 18, 2008 Report Posted March 18, 2008 Why do you need to change the language?? Can't you just turn off T9 and then type in Bulgarian even if the language is still english? Or am I misunderstanding you?

I need to change the language, because I need to type some things in English and some things in Bulgaria. And when I switch between the two languages, the T9 for this language is turned on automatically. I am searching for a way to disable T9 permanently, or at least to make the ABC mode default.
