Guest reese48 Posted March 19, 2008 Report Posted March 19, 2008 I was thinking of buying a JawBone Bluetooth Headset to use with my Blackjack 2. Have seen a few unfavorable comments. I am wondering if there is anyone out there that is using a Jawbone headset with a BlackJack2 that is reasonably satisfied with the way it works. Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. Sorry for the thread jack, Reese; but this is a great question for such an expensive BT Head Set that claims a lot...I'd like to hear more responses, too, as I've also read a few things holding me back. . . I drive a Jeep with a soft-top, and though I know I won't be looking forward to BT converstions with the top down, I'm still hard pressed to find a good head set that will get passed the wind-noise of the soft-top baffling at free-way speeds: when the top is UP. I've tried an older Motorolla headset that was bundled for a Razr a year back or so, and though nice, it wasn't able to cut it on my end (couldn't hear) or for my listener's end (they couldn't hear me well enough either). I've also tried the ol' OEM corded head set for my BJII with the same results. Summer is coming and the Hands Free Law in CA is going to soon take effect...! So is this Military noise cancelling technology really "all that?" And the fancy little jaw-vibration receiver button thing that helps people here you...? Edited March 21, 2008 by JeepinCalifornia
Guest pPCp Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 ...So is this Military noise cancelling technology really "all that?" And the fancy little jaw-vibration receiver button thing that helps people here you...? I use a JawBone and it really REALLY works better than the other so-called noise cancellation headsets that I have had. I travel through airports and it use to be that whoever I was talking to could hear the airport background announcements which would greatly interfere with my own voice speaking to them... not anymore. I have tested it in other very noisy enviroments like on the floor of a conference exhibit hall and it works flawlessly. I don't have a convertible auto to test it with though...
