Hi All

I'm thinking about upgrading to a Tytn 2 on Orange and I just wanted to check (as it isnt mentioned on there website) but does the device supplied by Orange still have GPS?

Yes. No satnav software but the GPS is there and works fine. You can download Googlemaps if you have a good data plan or install tomtom or copilot etc.

Network coverage and data tariffs...

I regularly stay in Newlyn and Orange 3g coverage there is good but T's isnt.

Yeah it isnt going to be an easy choice, I hate Orange tho they've always messed me about.

T-mob coverage isnt too bad and to be honest as long as i've got 2G coverage at home and can still take calls I'm not too bothered. (I only know 1 person with a 3G phone hah)

Its the fast data that I would miss... but only as long as I had a good data plan

get it on orange,then go to xda.developers.com,use new super sid/security/sim unlocker and put 3 network chip in it instead,cheapest fast network

but he's then got an orange contract doing nothing...
