Record a phone call on HTC

Hi I have a HTC 710 and have been looking for phonecall recording software. I have tried several but Vito Audio notes seems to be nice. Only problem is that if I dont use the speaker only my own voice is recorded. I dont want to put my calls throught the speaker so everyone else can hear my calls. Have read somewhere that this is a "feature" in som phones.

Is it possible to hack/tweak my HTC 710 to record phonecalls with Vito Audio Notes or other software without putting the calls through the speaker?

Unfortunately, this is impossible - the HTC Vox doens't support call recording at all (actually, it's only available on very few WinMo models: the Oxygen and some Atom & GigaByte models). See my related articles at, say, http://www.modaco.com/content/Smartphone-G...all-recording-/

I have Resco's Audio Recorder and suggest to go try out. Of course the question is whether his hardware is capable to record both sides. http://www.resco.net/smartphone/audiorecorder/
