Listpro text entry from HTC Touch Dual keypad?

Hi! I'm new to the WM world and still getting to know my HTC Touch Dual. Been searching this forum and the web but can't seem to find anyone else with the same problem, would someone be able to help, please?

Am trialling the Listpro app and like it except I'm unable to figure out how to enter text entries from the 12-key keypad itself. Listpro only allows me to enter numbers when I use the keypad, and I'm only able to enter text through the touch keyboard with a stylus.

How can I make the 12-key keypad work for text-input as well on Listpro? I can't seem to find any menu options/ settings in the app for this and wondering if it's just inherent in the program (and are there any mods if so?) or if I'm just clueless.
