Good Mobile Messaging

After a weekend of tweaking my phone to my likings, I began the task of getting corporate email to work. In the midst of that process, the phone was formatted. So, not only did I lose all my visual tweaks, but I lost all the programs, music, etc...

Anyyyway, It's a great program for the email part, but it takes up some other areas which I would like some assistance with. This is what I've noticed thus far...

1. When I hit Contacts, it brings up the corporate list of contacts, versus my contacts(a HUGE pain). Is there anyway to edit that button in the registry to open up the wm6 contacts instead??

2. When I press the number keys, it brings up the corporate list of phone numbers. Is there anyway to get the normal dial function back?

Basically, it'd be nice to go to the Good Messaging folder and open Contacts, when I want THOSE. or open up the phone list when I need those.

...any other time, I'd like the phone to operate as if it normally would!

Can anyone create a theme/home screen that incorporates a small dialog box into the Samsung Popup, instead of reverting to the Good Messaging display...which is god awful.

Thanks ALOT for any information...not sure where to find it.

I'll take a look in the Registry tomorrow for question #1 but for #2 you should be able to go into Good Preferences, select Phone, then choose "Use System Dialer". Now when entering in numbers it won't go to your Company list.

I edit my Home screen XMLs all the time to incorporate on the Good mail icon and my calendar. What exactly are you looking for and I'll give it a shot.

Well,

I found the system dialer option soon after posting that...

I also edited my registry to get the original contacts on the soft key.

I really appreciate the response though. The only other thing that would be nice is to incorporate maybe another icon or two, similar to the sms/email in the Samsung Popup theme. That way I can see that I have a new email, without having to change the home screen or actually launch the program.

..but thats only if your looking for something to do. The major issues are fixed.

Archy -

I am having exactly the same frustration you did regarding "Good Messaging" hijacking my "Contacts" soft key. I noticed in one of your posts you stated:

"I also edited my registry to get the original contacts on the soft key."

Can you tell me specifically what you did?

Thanks.
