pitiful windows media mp4 playback on vario3

here's hoping the new 6.1 rom is going to be better, i don't get how a 400mhz machine with lots of ram could have been released with such a poor capability of playing back video. i just rendered an apple mp4 and this really is an economical codec in terms of processor overhead ...

the vario 3 can't even handle it! let alone an mp1! and i don't want to have to faff around with core and codecs, htc should have got this right before release!

Are you serious? anything that relates to Apple, Quicktime, or anything like that isn't lightweight. :D

Its a widely known fact that video playback sucks, however I am able to stream divx files over the interweb and play them back without any problems.
