I thought the Idea of re-furbished was, new housing, stylus etc. just the components were used.
Guest Mysterious Stranger Posted March 30, 2008 Report Posted March 30, 2008 I thought the Idea of re-furbished was, new housing, stylus etc. just the components were used. I think the exact phrase is 'they replace what needs to be replaced' - if the casing is scratched, they'd fit a new one, otherwise it'd just be a returned phone they were selling. Refurbished is just a name they give them - some may not even have been used but just returned, and legally they can't be sold as 'new' anymore. They must have had a lot of returns to have the model end up in the refurbished shop section! Last SPV I remember in there was the c500! M.S
