google maps problem

Ok I installed the GPSActivator and then Google maps, it says im in los vegas tho when im in florida, i tried the use gps feature and it just keeps seeking gps satellites, what am i doing wrong, should i be testing gps somehow/

This is a known issue.. Some users report it can take 30 seconds to 30 minutes to find satelites in Google Maps. Personally, I (and many others) have never bothered to wait that long to see if it will find satelites. If you install the program GPSTest and have it running for a second (it will find satelites very quickly) and then load up Goggle Maps. with GPSTest running in the background, Google will find the satelites quickly.

When seeking satellites, make sure your outside and not in a building, otherwise you won't connect to any sat's.

Does it seem to make any difference if you're moving or stationary?

It would get a faster fix if you were stationary with a good clear view of the sky.

im at work right now, i tried it inside becasue the walls are thing i thought it would be ok, ill try it when i get home and let yall know, thanks
