S710 - change homescreen to "HTC default_gray"

I just purchased a S710 phone, and decided to play around with it.

saw this theme mentioned http://electrogeek.com/blog/2008/03/14/fre...tc-black-theme/

and really like it. I am not too fond of the standard green theme.

I tried to install the mentioned theme, but it only changes the colours, and there is no background supplied.

Therefore i have two questions:

1. What do I need to do in order to make my homescreen look like that on the picture (follow the link)

2. When using the theme, selected textlines tends to become black-on-black. How do i solve this?
