Guest MI 99XPL Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 I have the SanDisk 4gb mircoSD hc for 1 full week and it's working great.
Guest sailorcan Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 I have the SanDisk 4gb mircoSD hc for 1 full week and it's working great. but you micro SD may be not SDHC type.
Guest jonathanbaker1 Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 My understanding was that SDHC support was incorporated into Windows Mobile 6, and didn't have much to do with the device specifically. Someone tell me if I'm wrong...
Guest thelostsoul Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 but you micro SD may be not SDHC type. If the size is more than 2GB, the card is HC.
Guest MI 99XPL Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 but you micro SD may be not SDHC type. Sorry, I should have typed it like this.... "mircoSD hc" It's the SDHC type.
Guest beaups Posted April 3, 2008 Report Posted April 3, 2008 yes, the phone supports the microsdhc. It's a function of both the OS AND the sd drive on the phone. A good example would be windows vista....some card readers can read sdhc and some cannot. The Sandisk MicroSDHC cards are a good choice as they come with the Micro to SD adapter and also an SDHC usb reader. You may need the reader as MANY built-in readers (even on brand new pc's) cannot read the SDHC cards.
Guest omahawk Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 does i617 supprot micro SDHC 4GB???? thanks I have a 4gb and works great. I have a co-worker that has a 32 gb in his and no problems. Specs for the BJII say 4gb max, you may receive errors when using larger than 4gb.

Specs for the BJII say 4gb max, you may receive errors when using larger than 4gb. You're not lyin'! I have a Sandisk 8gb SDHC and have had issues with the card not being recognized by WMP. I partitioned it into 2 4gig partitions and thought I was in the clear until tonight when WMP would only see 1 of the 2 partitions. Anyone have any recommendations?
Guest JBurger Posted April 8, 2008 Report Posted April 8, 2008 8gb SanDisk micro SDHC works Great!! No Problemo!!! I got it from buy.com when it was on sale.
Guest zohark Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 I have had an 8GB SanDisk microSDHC card running for over 2 weeks now, and it runs flawlessly. I have transferred the Garmin Mobile application to it (see a separate thread on instructions), and filled the rest with music. No issues. Make sure you purchase an authentic SanDisk card, I have heard that there are several counterfeit versions going around, particularly in eBay. (I have the Canadian version of the BJ2 - the i616, but it should make no difference)
