Guest SamCritch Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Hi, I'd like to post a link to our (free) software for Pocket PC (6.0 Pro and 5.0 with CF2 installed) and get people's feedback on it. Is this acceptable behaviour in the forums and is there somewhere particular I should post? It won't be a huge banner advert or anything... ;-) Thanks in advance, Sam
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Er, post it in this topic and let's have a look :D P
Guest SamCritch Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Okay, thanks. It's for GyPSii, our mobile location-based photo/video/audio-sharing and social network. The app is downloadable via the following link: http://gypsii.com/m (should autodetect your mobile browser type) The main site is at http://www.gypsii.com Main functions are: PlaceMe - record your life in photo, video and audio, with location, and share it with your friends SpaceMe - your social space. Where your closest friends are, on a map, and call/text/email them Search - explore your surroundings, find interesting places other users have shared and send them to your friends It works on all Pocket PC devices with CF 2 and above, but is best on 6.0 Pro devices with GPS. Let me know what you think! My friend Duncan suggested I post here. Best wishes, Sam
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Cool, i'll check it out! BTW, consider adding AppToDate support: http://apptodate.modaco.com :D P
Guest SamCritch Posted April 4, 2008 Report Posted April 4, 2008 Okay, thanks. Let me know if you run into any problems. You can also pick up some press we've got by going to http://corporate.gypsii.com and clicking on the press link. I will check out apptodate. Bests, Sam
Guest SamCritch Posted July 24, 2008 Report Posted July 24, 2008 By the way, we put out a new version of our GyPSii software with a completely different user interface (much prettier and much faster). Download here and then post your photos/videos with geotagging, see where your friends are, contact them and explore your surroundings. Thanks, Sam (GyPSii)
