Guest jacoch Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Hi all, I've made some changes to the first version. I didn't finish all the requested changes (system apps are still visible in the process list), but I've added some new features: - New layout of the lists - Menu have been redesigned - Improved internal memory management - Added a status page, giving remaining battery, available memory, available memory in object store and available space on card Your comments are welcome. As usual, no garantee unless it is probably not bug free. Download link http://www.binarys.com/taskmgr/sptaskmgr.exe

Guest madu Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Thumbs UP!!! I'd buy you a pint, but I don't know you ;) Brilliant work, really!! This is what the phone lacked! Just how many processes/applications there are after a days use?? I don't have to restart my phone anymore!!! Good work!!
Guest Lojt Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Still doing it after a restart... hmm this is annoying me, the first beta worked and was very usefull ;)
Guest madu Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Mine works perfectly. Keystroke, do you have Traffic Counter running?? Or MyTools? Or maybe you had DK Update installed?
Guest Gorskar Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Wow, what a quality piece of work! Like the "bring to front" option also.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Will this version work with the DK update? just wondering as the old version will not. Keep up the good work.

Guest Lojt Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Can i be really stupid seeing as im a newbie and ask wot this app. actually does?? Enables you to close down apps.
Guest casper508 Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Beautiful !! Great job mate. ;) We all greatly appreciate the time and effort you are putting in. Cheers Cas
Guest madu Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Jacoch, if you are planning to take this marvelous piece of soft forward, amount of memory used by an application or some 'details' of the process would be brilliant. That would kinda show you what to close now and what to save for later he he ;))
Guest frijj2k Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Doesnt work on my phone either. The last version didnt too. Its used to until I installed Danish update!!! :-( Arrghh. Maybe thats the problem. Keystroke: What about you??? Dave
Guest frijj2k Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Prehaps, if this software doesnt work with DK Update, then it might (Depending on how similar they are) not work with the new English update when available! Just a thought.
Guest spacecowboy6982 Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Oh Baby wot an App - i think ?? Not sure exactly wot 2 close down tho lol. That storage system rocks 2 !!!! SpAcE cOwBoY
Guest Lojt Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Last version worked fine before the update, didn't try it after.
Guest jacoch Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 Last version worked fine before the update, didn't try it after. Other posts on Smartphony.org confirms that the app is not working with Danish update. Don't know why yet. I will install the update and try to fix the problem asap.
Guest MrMagoo Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003  This is fantastic!! Great work
Guest spacecowboy6982 Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 wot apps r u closing down - im guessing this will make the spv run faster?
Guest neilg Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 hi, can u tell me where I should install this app. I am assuming that as task manager it should go in IPSMWindowsstartup so it loads automatically, but as it is a beta I guess this could cause me some problems if there are any conflicts. Is everyoine installing it here or should i stick it under my Apps folder under IPSMApplication dataApps??? CHeers NG
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 This app (v1) works fine with the Danish update for me! (Note: I reflashed my original IPSM tho...) P
