I want to buy a at&t branded Samsung i617. Is there any sim lock on this phone, how to unlock it if it has so that I can use other sim card. By the way, I am in Norway. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Do a quick search on ebay for 'i617 unlock'

I paid $15, sent in my phone's IMEI number and got sent the unlock code the next day.

If you are looking on eBay most of the phones are preunlocked. That's how I bought mine.

I also want to buy it on ebay. Could anybody tell me which branded i617 is the best one, any suggestion?
