How to recover cab from ActiveSync and Install.exe ?

1. I have a *.exe version of the installable. I want to extract the Cab from it. How can I do that ?

2. I have a program inside ActiveSync which I can install from ActiveSync "Add/Remove Program". But I've lost the *.exe. How can I get the Cab from Activesyn ?

1 - sometimes its an EXE generated by winzip / winrar. Try opening it with one of the programs!

2 - you should search on your computer

C:\Programme\Microsoft ActiveSync

I know there are some different places but I canot remember excatcly where;(

1. I've tried. Winzip says it's not zip file. So if it's not generated by winzip, then how to extract ? When it installs, it must create the files inside the *.exe and put it somewhere first then call Activesync to send it to the smartphone. Question is where ?

2. I can't find it in C:\Programme\Microsoft ActiveSync. So it must be somewhere else... anyone can tell me where ?
