Guest shortysk8rulez Posted April 12, 2008 Report Posted April 12, 2008 (I have a HTC s620/Tmo Dash with WM 6.1) Ok, so when i had WM 6.0, i was able to drag and drop different .PNG Layouts for my Incoming calls or Call in Progress Screens, but now with 6.1...when i try to do the same, it will not let me. It says i dot not have the permisions to create or edit the content. I Have read around in the forum, and some people have been suggesting editing the registry? Is that what i have to do? If so, How would i got about doing that, yes im somewhat of a newb haha. Help!

So i had the Homebrew Excalibur WM 6.1 and i thought that was the problem, so i downgraded to the Tmobile/MS 6.0. I have been trying to edit the Incoming Calls Screen, Incoming_bg.png on my Dash, i alread have my Image layed out and i have tryed replacing it by dragging and dropping but it says i still do not have permisions. It must have something to do with the .png file extension because before i was able to replace/edit some of the .gif files like the call in progress screen. I have tried looking in the registry mocking how to replace the start up and shutdown screens, but i wasn't able to find anything. I'm at my wits end, HELP!
Guest shortysk8rulez Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 Ok so i found out that by editing the BackgroundImage_Land.bmp that over rode all of the screens, Incoming, Outgoing, Dialing screens in WM 6.0....weird.
