Guest WearTheFoxHat Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 A mate has just messaged me on MSN regarding this GPS: http://www.pdamods.com/proddetail.asp?prod=A1111A1TTBTGPS66 He wishes to know which is better: "SIRF III or skytraq 3000 chipsets" I personally have never heard of Skytraq chipsets, and decide to canvass opinion here. Thanks in advance for swift responses! WTFH
Guest Confucious Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 Never heard of skytraq! I've just ordered one of these. Not quite sure why as I already have a couple of BT GPS receivers and my Athena has built in GPS but it seemed like a bargain!
Guest WearTheFoxHat Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 (edited) You're as bad as me ... I was looking for a new surround sound system for home. Originally looking at Sony stuff to go with the TV at about £400 quid. But made a spur decision and ended up with an Onkyo 875 and Mission E3 speakers with RRP of £2645 ... I have no idea why !! Edit: I had sent him the link for the GPS available on Play.com ... but he's a man who likes form over function ;-) Edited April 14, 2008 by WearTheFoxHat

Guest WearTheFoxHat Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 Was it shiny? With lots of nice buttons? :D Oh yeah ... was it ever !!! It had big shiny silver stickers with "THX" etc, which made it look like the dogs undercarriage.
