Annoying sounds after cable disconnect

After disconnecting power or sync cable my BJII continues to repeat that 'cable disconnect' sound every few minutes, even with Silent profile. The only way to get rid of this sound is to power-cycle the phone.

Support has been useless, and I wanted to check if anyone have seen this and managed to get rid of annoying sounds before starting warranty procedure.
