Guest andrewkeith5 Posted April 17, 2008 Report Posted April 17, 2008 fantastic find paul :D 85% through getting the booze cruise onto my phone (at last) - hopefully this converter will work properly:p
Guest pd.ryder Posted April 17, 2008 Report Posted April 17, 2008 Got it. I'll give it a run once home later today. :D
Guest tsutton Posted April 17, 2008 Report Posted April 17, 2008 What a GREAT find, Paul! Even better that it supports subtitles ripping. Wonder if it can encode it with the DVD films... ? Will test it out tonight.
Guest tsutton Posted April 17, 2008 Report Posted April 17, 2008 One thing that I found is... it will only work if you download and install it today. If you tried to do it tomorrow, or any other time (i.e. you wiped off and reinstalled the operating system), it will check and will deny you access if it's on another day. So a very limited-time software!

Guest tsutton Posted April 17, 2008 Report Posted April 17, 2008 Does it work if you change the date on your PC? :D :( :( I checked to see how it works and nope, it connects to the server to check before allowing you to install...
Guest mstephenson Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 Cheers for finding this Paul :D I've tried a few similar programmes before and they've been pretty poor so wasn't holding out too much hope for this. Decided as it was free it was definitely worth a try and it's great. Previous software i've used has just made the vidoes really poor quality, or made them freeze every few seconds. Not had any of these issues with Aplus, really good product and one i'd probably actually pay for if it hadn't been free. Thanks again
Guest FlangeArtist Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 Bugger missed it :/ I got some action on this. Appears to be good, but crashed when trying to rip the "Dirtch Sanchez" Series 1 DVD when I tried last night. Will try again tonight!
Guest wizgnome Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 (edited) I tried it on some of my DVD's. Some caused the program to crash, some did not record the video correctly and some worked really well, good quality video, audio ok. It just depended on the DVD I was ripping. However I have managed to get a few good videos to watch on my HTC S710, and they play perfectly. OK I guess for a free application, but it wastes a lot of time trying to find DVD's that will copy correctly. Mike Edited April 18, 2008 by wizgnome
