GPS stopped working on BJ II

I had the hack installed and working and started messing around with the GPSSample.exe app in the Windows Mobile 6 SDK. I'm not sure how I got it into this state, but my GPS is now no longer visible to any apps on the phone. I've uninstall/reinstalled the hack, rebooted, took the battery out in case it was a hardware hang, etc. Nothing.

Can anyone post the registry settings from their working BJII w/ GPS? What are your port/baud settings in the (GPS)Settings.exe app?

I haven't tried a hard reset to fix this yet - trying to avoid that at all costs since I have about 25 other apps installed. Any suggestions to get my GPS working again would be most appreciated.

The hack seems to be what messes the GPS up to begin with. Uninstall the hack. What apps are you trying to use with the GPS?

Probably is registry related.

When I first started fumbling with the GPS I installed Microsofts GPSID thingy, which seemed to work. Later I installed the hack here and then my GPS totally shut off, even after I uninstalled both.

I ended up hard resetting to fix the problem. Now I just use the hack here.

Awesome find Soadrocksever! When I hard reset my phone, it was new and I didn't have much on it. Now I'd hate to have to hard reset over something like this.

what you could do, is, if your registry is in a good state, use CeRegeditor and backup your registry, and if you have any problems, instead of a hard reset you can just swap the working reg back, it might not ALWAYS fix your issues, but in this case it would have....

well now that i think about it, ceRegeditor has the ability to spot the diferences in two registry files, so a simple scan of that, would have yielded the same results as what that guy posted(but of course, i didnt even think of it lol so i was kinda worried until i finaly found it)
