Guest Ahtum Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 Please I need help on this issue ....I have an opportunity to buy one of these phone : HTC S620 or Samsung I600 ....I need some help on the decission ....The battery life is a problem on both ....but somebody tell me that on HTC S620 I could have problems with the display ... It is true ...?? I find this link also ... thats worry me ... http://reviews.cnet.co.uk/mobiles/0,390301...9282638o,00.htm It's his opinion or it's plain stuid that guy ???
Guest spacerace Posted April 19, 2008 Report Posted April 19, 2008 I have had both, they are very similar phones, the HTC is slightly 'smoother' to hold etc. It has no battery life problems for me, can make 2 days depending on usage levels but I use mine a fair bit and regularly get to the end of a day with over half the battery life left. Obviously 3G is the issue - the Samsung having it and the HTC lacking it. If that's important then get the Samsung however this *does* have poor battery so buy a car charger or always carry the second battery to swap over. Swapping batteries is a pain but at least it's a supplied option. I think the review is slightly off - I find typing on the keyboard surprisingly usable, but you do need a couple of weeks to get used to it. I can happily type out long emails now. Both have WM6 upgrades available, although the Samsung can be tricky to do if it came from a network like Orange. I eventually sold my Samsung as 3G didn't make up for the battery life and am now running WM6 on the HTC which is an excellent combination.
