screen fades white mda t-mobile pocket pc

hi every1. this is my first ever post anywhere. hope its in the right place, anyway here goes. please help me, my mda vario 1 screen fades to white when I push keyboard out, for a quick fix I tap the power button twice. but the problem just carrys on. I've also noticed when my phone has keyboard push in, the screen sometimes wobbles like theres interference, I'm trying to avoid sending my phone away coz itl be gone months. I want to try av a dabble myself. I'm a modaco virgin so please be gentle with me. BIG THANKS FOR ANY REPLIES.
