how the heck do you run the calculator?

I see the calc.lnk and calculator.lnk files in :\windows\ and can run them from total commander, but if i try to copy them to the start menu or make some sort of shortcut they don't show up anywhere. Is this program hiding somewhere else or is there something i can do to make it quickly and easily accessible?

It's in the Organizer folder in the start menu. So if you run it once it'll show up on the topbar on your today screen.
