Loose ring tones when put off my SPV

I copied two .WMF files in my windows directory. As long as my SPV is running, I can use this ring tones. But when I put off the SPV and put on again, they are lost. :lol:

What's wrong? Where have I to copie the files to keep them on the phone even when I put off my SPV?

What's a .WMF ?

.wmf = winamp media file.

I copied a .wav file to my SPV, but when I check my device, its always written winamp media file. Im not sure, if it's the typ of netscape?

Detail:

I downloaded a .mp3 file, converted it in a .wav file und copied from my desktop in the windows file on my SPV. All the standard ring tones ar in this file as well. And all of them have this winamp media file .wmf ...

You cant put anything in Windows, the directory is "reset" each time you reboot.

Try putting them in IPSMApplication DataSounds (create tehe folder if nescasary). You should be able to select them then.

files ar not wmf. I was wrong. they are wav fils.

for first, all i wanted to know is clear. But i'm sure, Ill have further questions later.
