Guest humz Posted January 28, 2003 Report Posted January 28, 2003 You know that when you insert a mobile number into the phone book, the phone creates a duplicate of the number titled SMS? Well I think it would be a good idea if when you put in a number under mobile, the SMS number created should start +44 instead of 0. This would solve the problem of the senders name not being displayed on a text message, without the need to change every mobile number in your phonebook from 0 to +44. Also if they did this we would be able to use the number entry method for dialling mobile numbers without having to use +44. I hope I'm being clear, I'm having trouble explaining what I mean.
Guest fitz Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 It's good pratice to enter the numbers as +44 so they work whilst you're roaming, else the network wont recognise the number and you'd have to change it anyway. Still, is a pain to remember to do it all the time.
