Guest WearTheFoxHat Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 Ok then folks, lets get a discussion going on browsers. I've tried the upcoming Opera 9.5 and its pretty cool, almost as nice as the Safari on the iPhone. Thunderhawk I used a while back and thought it was okayish, but didn't want to subscribe just to use a browser! So then skyfire. I understand it's pretty much like Thunderhawk, where everything is downloaded and rendered on a server, and then screens are sent through to your device. In reality how does this work with video streaming etc? Which browser would you go for?
Guest Quexx Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 I think the information on Skyfire is interesting. I was excited to try it and signed up for the beta (seems open to public now) but only to find that no one seems to be able to log in today (server issues). Not a great start but hey its a beta so no biggie. Looking forward to trying it out. ---------------------------------- Ok then folks, lets get a discussion going on browsers. Guest tsutton Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 Picked Others... I'm waiting for Google Chrome to be made into mobile version. Then we will have a serious competition. ;) But until it comes out, I think Opera Mini/Opera are good.
