Plugin conflicts, screen protectors, and freeware - oh my!?

I have a few unrelated questions that I haven't found the answers to, so here goes nothin':

1) I'm sure I'm just not looking in the right place, but I'd really like a simple--freeware--Timer program. I'd just like to enter a count down time that will set off an alarm when complete - nothing fancy (yes, I know, the BJ has alarm settings :().

2) What [decent] brand of screen protector(s) actually fit the Blackjack II screen perfectly, particularly down and around the scroll wheel? I've read enough reviews to be apprehensive, so it comes down to finding this out.

3) At the moment I'm running the EkoFlip homescreen which requires Facade; [but, FYI] I also have a few other plugins installed, such as PhoneAlarm and Orange. Is there a way to utilize PhoneAlarm's varying Profile sounds if it is not utilized in my current homescreen?

Maybe it's not possible, there are conflicts, or I'm doing something wrong: if I change PhoneAlarm profile settings, my "Other Sounds" under my current profile are wiped out to "None." So...I obviously don't hear any sounds while still on that current profile as utilized under the EkoFlip homescreen, nor, however, do I hear the sounds I've set under PhoneAlarm's settings. I can understand why PhoneAlarm might change the current profile settings, but I don't understand why I can't hear the sounds set in PhoneAlarm either. Is it simply because it's not written into the XML of EkoFlip? In the end, I'd really like to have different tones for different profiles, while keeping EkoFlip as my homescreen.

Any help at all would be appreciated! Thanks! :D

Invisible Shield fit perfectly on my wife's BJII. It's tough and allows more light through than the crystal-clear protector on my BJII. It's just not smooth looking when you see its reflection, but I didn't work like others to make it perfect.

I have the InvisibleShield and its works like a charm, I always show people how great it is by scraping my keys or a knife across the screen. NO MARKS!
