Replacing cracked screen/lens

Has anyone ever replaced the front screen/lens on their BJ2? Mine is cracked and I'm thinking about ordering a replacement and installing it myself, however I'm a little concerned that it will be difficult to install. I heard that the glue used to hold the original on is pretty strong and that its easy to break the casing when trying to remove it.

If anyone has done this before and has some tips/suggestions that would be very helpful. Also I found a tutorial on Youtube regarding taking apart the BJ1, I'm wondering if the BJ2 is pretty much the same or if not, what major differences there are.

My BJ2 has a cracked screen as well. I've pondered replacing it with a piece of lexan, but I've been too lazy to do it. The crack doesn't bother me enough to do anything about it.
