Guest tshank Posted May 23, 2008 Report Posted May 23, 2008 Hard reset Yeah that works, but what is causing it to happen. This is the ssecond time it has happened.
Guest sonofdaviddavis Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 I have the same problem but I've tried hard resetting and it didn't fix it. I thought maybe some dirt had clogged or gotten in the way of the vibrating mechanism, so I opened it up and cleaned out as much dirt as I could find, but still nothing. Any ideas, or anyone certain which specific part inside makes it vibrate?

Guest sonofdaviddavis Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 I thought the battery makes it vibrate. i wondered the same thing but wasn't sure. likely that i'll be able to access that part without destroying my battery casing? or should i just suck it up and buy a new battery?
Guest sonofdaviddavis Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 Was able to open it without damaging, but nothing to access for cleaning. Bought a new battery, but vibrate still doesn't work. Must be a phone setting but have gone through profiles, adjusting settings over and over, and still no vibrating. Looked through registry also, couldn't find anything that would prevent it from working. Any ideas?
Guest tshank Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 I believe I have solved this problem with my phone, It only does this when I have photo contacts installed, I thnk it has something to do with the automatic profiles.
