Keyboard Backlight Flashes on keypress

Been reading the forums for about a month now (about how long I have had the blackjack II wine) Thanks for all of the great help and ideas

Two days ago I had an issue arise that I haven't been able to figure out how to fix.

When I press the keyboard or any of the buttons the keyboard backlight just flashes once and then goes out prior to this starting it would stay on for about 20secs or so.

I have rechecked the settings and haven't been able to find anything that changes this. I am about to try a hardreset just incase there is something in the registery or a setting that I can't find that is doing this.

Any ideas before the hard reset?
