HTC Audio Manager question

i have a HTC Touch with a 2gb Micro sd card full of music,

however songs only come up on the HTC Audio Manager if they are stored on the device, which has i think around 40mb spare.

is there no way of getting around this?

Don't happen on mine. I'm using a Kaiser.

All my songs are in a folder on the card called "music", in case that's important
