my E650/Vox is actinv strangley in SMS Messages

Hi basically not a clue whats done this am guessing one of my arrow buttons is stuck down but I cant visually see any change or difference and it only happens while I'm typing.

Basically what is happening is while am writing a text message or writing with the qwerty keyboard the cursor will randomly move backwards throughout my text until it reaches the start of the text. Sometimes this could be after every button pressed somtimes its after a few.

EDIT : just thought you might need to know its an orange e650, whats been flashed with the HTC S710 firmware and I have done a hard reset.
