3G has turned H

How come the 3G icon on my kaisers title bar is now an H in places where i have full 3G signal????

That H stands for HSDPA which is actually a newer technology than 3g that is currently only in test mode in the U.S. However, certain roms allow phone's to jump onto that network which basically means that you get much better reception and astonishing data bandwidth. GPRS
