I had a Citroen ZX once (with Cituning tuning bits) that I really liked, the Saxo is cool but just TOO boy-racer-chavvy (IMHO as a too-old-to-be-boy-racer-nowadays).

I like to go for individual (hence having only 1 of 800 MPS' in the UK!)... how about the underrated, unique, quick (2.4 litre) and very well specced (nav, semi automatic) Stilo Abarth?

For example, this example on AutoTrader will set you back £2,750 and gets you...

  • 52 plate
  • 54,000 miles
  • Semi Auto Selespeed Abarth
  • Elec Front Seats
  • Sat Nav
  • Parking Sensors
  • Climate Control
  • Elec Mirrors & Windows
  • 5 Disc CD Player/Radio
  • Central Locking
  • Folding Rear Seats
  • ABS
  • Alloy wheels

and more.

I challenge you to beat that for value... Probably knock em down a bit on price too (it specifies ono).

This yellow one is higher mileage but a great colour!

:D

Just out of interest have you looked at any Seat Ibiza's?

Not that I own one or anything (well ok yes I own a 56 plate Ibiza FR and its great) but they are well built like skodas are after VW took them over, are pretty quick and if its a diesel pretty economical too.

My FR is 130bhp which can be mapped to 160, can get around 450 miles driving carefully in it and costs £105 a year tax. Pretty low group insurance too.

As for a fiat, I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. Heard so many bad things about them, and I have never ever liked their build quality. But thats just my take I guess.

Oh and sorry Paul, yellow for a car - YUK. (IMHO)! :-)

Yeah, an Ibiza is a good bet.

Fiat / Alfa etc. have cleaned up their act nowadays I understand!
