Guest sxywill2005 Posted May 28, 2008 Report Posted May 28, 2008 OK I have damaged my phone big time. It dropped out of my hands at the train station and it has cracked the back of my MDA Vario III, lodged the stylus in the phone so I can't pull it out as the top bit snapped off and to top it all off the USB connection is bent so I can't charge the phone. I can live without my Vario for a few weeks and I have seen the Vario IV on Engadget today. I was wondering if I should hold out the claim until later when the MDA Vario IV comes out - will the insurance let me have it?
Guest Confucious Posted May 28, 2008 Report Posted May 28, 2008 Phone insurance normally replaces your phone with a reconditioned version of the model that's broken - I doubt very much if you'd get a newer phone!
Guest penguin Posted May 29, 2008 Report Posted May 29, 2008 i'd say your chances are slim to none mate

Guest rockynick Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 (edited) Yes definitely you can replace your phone with new one, but with the same model. If your mobile is damaged then you can also get the repairing cost of the phone..But i am not sure so just don't go with my words.... mobile phone insurance comparison Edited March 29, 2012 by rockynick
