Just to advise, Soti Pocket Controller Pro is not fully WM6 compatible. Works ok for some devices, not all.

Was in the midst of purchasing a licence, tried it first and found you are unable to type using your pc/laptop's keyboard, all other functions seem to work. Seems its an issue with Windows Mobile architecture itself, this is the response I got, as nothing is listed on their site to advise of these issues in a faq etc.

Thank you for your E-Mail.

Your issue may be similar to the previously reported issue for the T-Mobile Dash/HTC S620 device listed below.

Regarding the issues with the T-Mobile Dash/HTC S620:

This issue has been reported to us recently with the upgrade of windows mobile 5 to windows mobile 6. On Smartphone devices non standard keyboard drivers are used and thus we need to customize this for each device. Due to the nature of this issue we are unable to resolve this and have reached out to the manufacturer to help us with this issue. We are working with the engineers from the manufacturer of the device but are at the mercy of them to address this issue. We are currently waiting on them so that this issue can be resolved. When a solution becomes available it will posted on our website.

Try EveryWAN Remote Support Personal Edition, it's totally free, no time bomb. And the keyboard works in most of the applications for HTC S620 even with WM6 ROM.

There are only minor issues with some applications and only for keys that are mapped with both number (numeric keypad) and alpha.

In this case, you can still use your mouse on the skinned keyboard on the PC (I must admit to my great shame that you will probably need to edit the SKin with the Skin editor to add some missing keys on the .

Skin keyboard)

The "SmartPhone with a keyboard" issues do exist, but you can do some work to make it work in more situations than you are experiencing with your current tool.
