Synchronising shared files?

Evening all.

I have a shared folder on a fileserver that has a number of critical business documents that I need to make available to everyone on their PDA (30 users - read only)

I need to know how I can do this and if their is a third party app to use with ActiveSync and WMDC to sync folders from a fileserver.

I tried creating a shortcut to the share folder in the "Documents for PDAname" file sync folder on my desktop and also tried making it available offline, but it doesn't sync to the PDA.

Any help would be appreciated.
