I just spent a good deal of time reading all 13 pages of the samsung i617 Category. YEs i read through all the threads :D <_<

Well like do i need a data plan to use the GPS hacks like installing garmin or anything like that?

IF i hack the phone do everything the posts say will i get charged.

I recently took away my data plan but i have the DATA turn on so i can send an recieve MMS through my unlimited texting.

If you're going to use a program that stores [the] maps to your device/card memory (such as Garmin), you will not get charged for Data downloading. Google Maps, Telenav, etc, download maps when needed so one needs a Data plan.
