Better Snes emulator than PocketSnes?

Hi guys,

I've never posted before (I don't think) because all of my questions have been answered - except this one. I've searched the entire site, google, torrents, you name it. I'm actually extremely disappointed at how crappy PocketSnes runs - even at 324mhz on my BJ2. I'd have to say my biggest issue with it, is that it's based off Snes9x and I've never been a fan of that emulator for this very reason. The emulator runs full speed without sound, but there are just some games out there that have excellent soundtracks that shouldn't be missed.

I'm looking for people who know of other emulators, even if they're in beta phases, for me to test out and to help bring a better snes emu to smartphones. I only posted this in the BJ2 section because that is the phone I have, and maybe others who have the same phone have a work-around on this issue to get better speed from PocketSnes.

On a side note: Picodrive runs fullspeed at 276mhz with some of the most demanding of MD games out there, with sound set at 22050hz. I'd have to say that this is why I'm griping about it. I'd contact the people behind zsnes, but they explicitly say that they won't work on ports for ppc's and smartphones.

Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated - thank in advance.

I know what you mean. I've been using ZSNES for a decade now, and I cringed at the thought of having to use SNES9x for my phone, but if that's what we have to do, that's what we have to do. :/
