Guest kingston53 Posted June 2, 2008 Report Posted June 2, 2008 After you take a photo or video and select Menu it gives you the option of: 1. Send Multimedia Msg (MMS) 2. Send to HP's Snapfish 3. Cancel My other Windows Mobile devices have always had the option to send via email. You then just select the account you wish to use (gmail etc) and its sent as an attachment. I assume this was deacativated because AT&T wants to maximize use of MMS and Snapfish. Can I turn the email option on, or do a registry tweak? Thanks

Can I turn the email option on, or do a registry tweak? Thanks Two ways I know: 1.) On my AT&T Blackjack II if I go to Start -> My Stuff-> My Pictures -> Select a photo -> Click Menu -> Send -> (I get 4 choices: via MMS, Via e-mail, via Bluetooth and to HP's Snapfish) Once you click via email it takes you where you can select the email service (gmail etc) that you want to use to send it as an attachment. This method only allows me to select one photo at a time. If I select more than one, the options to send gets grayed out. 2.) Start a new email -> Menu -> Insert-> Picture -> Click Select. Go back to Menu -> Insert to add additional photos. Hope this works for you. Edit: Almost forgot to mention that my phone is App unlocked and I also have installed and use the AT&T XpressMail client. I don't know if either of these caused these menu options to appear. Edited June 2, 2008 by tamanaco
Guest kingston53 Posted June 2, 2008 Report Posted June 2, 2008 Those two options work for me. Thanks.
