Guest eyesi Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 (edited) I've recently reinstalled Windows Vista (inc SP1) but now I can't properly connect and sync my MDA Vario (Windows Mobile 5.0). When I originally got Vista about 18 monhs ago I remembered connecting and syncing without any trouble at all but now it's giving me a real headache! I've tried searching all over the place but can't get any real answers. The only difference with my current set up (apart from Vista SP1) is that I've installed Norton 360. I've tried disabling that but still can't make any progress. Basically, I can connect the device with a USB cable and this appears to allow me to sync with Media Player only. I'm not really interested in that as I only want to sync my documents and outlook content. None of this is available. Ideally I want to connect with Bluetooth but that doesn't work either. I'm sure it has something to do with COM ports but my PC only seems to want to set up COM4 and my Vario only seems to have COM 6 and 7 with no option to set an outgoing COM port. Any help with this predicament would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Edited June 6, 2008 by eyesi
