Guest macatron Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 Well, this is my first post here, so please bare with me if this has already been covered a million times. I'm really interested in running at least a couple of game emulators on my BlackJack II, but I don't really want to unlock it because I'm afraid that I'll end up messing something up. So, with that said, I've looked into PocketSNES153, Pocket Nester Plus, and Smartgear. However, I could not find a straight answer as to whether or not I have to unlock my phone to properly install any of those emulators. So, do I have to unlock my phone for those emulators, or am I good to go? Also, what's everyone's opinion on Smartgear by the way? Out of all of the emulators that I have seen, it looked like the best bang for the buck. Has anyone really used it at all? Thanks!
Guest hagie92 Posted June 10, 2008 Report Posted June 10, 2008 Using SDA application unlock, (what i used...heres a LINK) It is VERY strait-forward and I have about a 99% say that nothing on your phone will be harmed. I am almost positive you have to unlock the phone for pocket nester....but it really is worth it. Here is a LINK for TONS of roms, and the application...just download them all. :( I heard you may want to overclock for PocketSNES...and that is FAR more likely to mess your phone up then the app unlock. (im not even brave enough to try that!) :D 3rd, never heard of smartgear. haha Hope it helps! -hagie92
